Remember how I said that in life you get the test first, and then the lesson? Well, Stage 3 is the lesson. This is where the theory catches up with the experience — and everything you’ve been doing in Stages 1 and 2 suddenly makes complete sense.
Here’s the model: Thoughts → Feelings → Experiences → Habits → Traits → Personality → Identity. Every single layer of who you’ve become was built this way. The operating system. The default programme. And here’s what makes Stage 3 so powerful: the exact same process works in reverse.
We also go deeper into the body in Stage 3. Your beliefs don’t just live in your mind — they live in your physiology. The tightness in your chest when something triggers an old pattern. The heaviness in your stomach when you think about a particular area of your life. Your body has been keeping score. In Stage 3, we’ll start listening to it.

Hebbian learning (Hebb, 1949): “neurons that fire together, wire together.” Every time you run the same thought-feeling-habit loop, the neural pathway gets faster and more automatic. Neuroplasticity research (Doidge, 2007; Pascual-Leone et al., 2005) confirms that this process works in both directions — which is the scientific foundation for everything that happens in Stages 4 through 8.
