Intentional Living

The life design framework.
How to actually design a life.

Not a vision board. Not a bucket list. A structured, eight-stage process that creates genuine change — from the inside out.

Design is not the same as planning

Most people, when they hear "life design," think of goals. Vision boards. Five-year plans. The kind of planning that feels good on a Sunday afternoon and is forgotten by Thursday.

Real life design is different. It starts with the inside — not the outside. It starts with understanding what's actually running your current life before you try to build a new one. Because you can't design from a perspective that's been shaped by the old patterns. You'll just rebuild the same thing with different details.

That's why Design is Stage 5 of the Self Blueprint — not Stage 1. Stages 1 through 4 (Foundation, Awareness, Clarity, Release) do the clearing work. Stage 5 is where you build.

"Design is the good stuff. But you have to clear the ground first. Trying to build a new life on top of an old story is like building on sand. Sooner or later, it sinks."

The elements of a well-designed life

Values first. Not goals. Values. The things that, if you were living in full alignment with them, would make you feel like you're living your actual life. Values are the compass. Goals are destinations. Get the compass right and the destinations change completely.

Identity second. Who do you need to be to live the life you're designing? Not what do you need to do — who do you need to be? This is the identity work that most life design skips entirely, and it's why most life design doesn't stick.

Environment third. Your environment is constantly shaping your behaviour, your mood, and your sense of what's possible. Designing your environment is not a nice-to-have — it's one of the most powerful levers available. And most people never touch it deliberately.

Practice fourth. The designed life is maintained through practice — not willpower. Specific, repeated behaviours that anchor the new design in the body and the daily life. This is Stage 6: Implementation. The bridge from design to daily life.

How the Self Blueprint delivers this

Stage 5 of the Self Blueprint takes you through the values work, the identity work, and the vision work in a specific sequence — designed to produce a picture of the life you're choosing that is both genuinely compelling and genuinely achievable.

Stage 6 then turns that picture into a living, daily practice. Stage 7 is where it becomes natural — where you stop doing intentional living and start being someone who lives intentionally. The difference is subtle. The experience of it is not.

Start designing.

The Self Blueprint takes you through the complete life design process — from seeing clearly to living intentionally.
