The Life Design
Workbook
A structured guide to designing the life you actually want to be living. Not a vision board. Not a goal-setting exercise. A real examination — of where you are, what's running the show, and where you're genuinely trying to go.
Let's be straight about this
You can't design a life you haven't honestly examined.
Most people jump to the vision — the destination — before they've looked clearly at where they're actually standing. And so the design is built on assumptions, old stories, and inherited ideas about what a good life is supposed to look like.
This workbook starts somewhere different. Before any designing, we need an honest baseline. Not a critique — a clear picture. From there, we can actually build something that's yours.
Use it slowly. One section per sitting. The insight emerges from the pauses, not the pages. Believe me — don't rush it.
What's Inside
Five sections. One complete picture.
The Life Audit
Score eight life domains from 1 to 10 based on how they actually are right now — not how you'd like them to be. Work, relationships, health, finances, growth, purpose. The honest version.
The Stories Running Your Life
Every pattern of behaviour is maintained by a story. The ACT-based exercises here help you see the narrative without being fused to it — the story about what you deserve, what's possible, what success looks like.
The Values Clarification
What actually matters most to you — not what you think should matter. The design has to be built on what's real, not what looks good.
The Vision
From honest baseline and clear values: where do you actually want to go? Not a dream board — a specific, concrete picture of the life you're designing, from the inside out.
The First Design Decisions
Three specific commitments. Small enough to keep. Meaningful enough to build from. The workbook ends where the real work begins.
Why This Is Different
It's not a goal-setting template.
You've probably seen workbooks that walk you through goals, action plans, 90-day priorities. This isn't that. Here's the thing — goals built on an unexamined life tend to keep you working hard in the wrong direction.

It starts with the audit, not the aspiration — because honest baseline beats motivated guessing every time.
-
→
The ACT-based story work surfaces the beliefs maintaining your current patterns — not just what you want to change, but why you haven't yet.
-
→
It uses HeartMath and mindfulness frameworks to make the reflection process feel real, not performative.

→
The design that comes out the other end is yours — not a template filled in with your name.
